Like its handwritten counterpart in the offline world, an electronic signature can be used, for instance, to electronically indicate that the signatory has written the document, agreed with the content of the document, or that the signatory was present as a witness.

You don't need to install any software to use SignFree. Simply drop or select your file on our webpage and use your mouse or smartphone to sign. For a more integrated experience, you can install our SignFree mailbox add-in in Outlook. Additionally, no account is needed for basic e-signing. However, creating an account grants access to the SignFree portal and its advanced functionalities.

If you do not create an account, your documents are automatically deleted from our servers after the signature. For this reason we ask you an email address, so the signed document is also stored in your mailbox for later consultation. If you decide not to sign the document anymore, your document is automatically deleted after few days. If you create an account, documents are stored and available via the SignFree Document Dashboard.

Yes, it is. SignFree is a Freemium product: you can enjoy all SignFree functionalities for free except for the advanced features that are available for SignFree Business plan.
