Advanced Encryption
SignFree uses industry-standard encryption to protect your documents both in transit and at rest. Your data is encrypted using robust protocols, ensuring that only authorized parties can access your confidential information. Connections use TLS in transit, and documents are stored with encryption at rest.
Simple Electronic Signatures and the Integrity Seal
SignFree provides Simple Electronic Signatures (SES) with a tamper-evident Integrity Seal on completed documents. SES is designed to support technology-neutral e-signature laws (including ESIGN/UETA in the US) and eIDAS SES in the EU/EEA for many commercial contracts. The Integrity Seal is a self-signed cryptographic seal intended to detect post-execution changes; it is not a government or CA identity guarantee and is not a Qualified Electronic Seal.
What we are not
SignFree is not a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP), not a Certification Authority (CA), not a government identity verification service, and not a notarization or legal-advice provider. We do not provide AdES/AES or QES in the standard product. We do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, or eIDAS QTSP certification unless separately verified and published.

SignFree processes personal data in line with GDPR and related data-protection obligations. Legal sufficiency of any signature for a specific document or jurisdiction remains your responsibility — confirm with counsel when needed.
