SignFree New Features (September 2026): Folders, Faster Signing, Branding & Google Drive

· By SignFree Team

SignFree 8.13 is live. This release helps small businesses and freelancers sign faster, look more professional, keep documents organized, and pull files from Google Drive into one place — without enterprise complexity.

1. Faster signing with Sign all and richer fields

Signing multi-page contracts is quicker. When a document has several signature or initials spots, signers can fill one and choose Sign all to apply the same signature to the rest. Templates and Specific Spot sends also support richer placeholders: text, multiline, date, and checkbox. Senders can optionally let signers add free-form text on the PDF.

Example

Send a 12-page lease with initials on every page. The tenant initials the first page, taps Sign all, and the remaining initials fill in automatically. Add a date field and a checkbox for “I agree to the house rules.”

Use case: A property manager sending lease renewals cuts signing time from several minutes of clicking each page to under a minute — fewer abandoned links and faster move-ins.

2. White-label branding for your business

In Profile, set your brand primary color and logo. The app header picks up your color, and outbound emails (signature requests, reminders, completed documents) use your logo and brand accents — with a clear “Powered by SignFree” footer.

Example

A design studio sets primary color #0F766E and uploads its logo. Clients receive a teal-branded invitation email that looks like it came from the studio, not a generic tool.

Use case: Agencies and freelancers who send proposals under their own brand keep a consistent client experience from first email through the signing page.

3. Organize documents with dashboard folders

Your Documents dashboard now supports nested folders. Create root folders, nest subfolders inside them, and move envelopes into the right place — the same way you organize files on your computer.

Example

Create a folder named Clients, then nest Acme Corp and Beta LLC underneath. Move each signed contract into the matching client folder.

Use case: A consultant juggling retainers for several clients keeps every NDA, SOW, and invoice in a client folder instead of scrolling one long list. Deleting a folder returns its documents to the root — nothing is lost.

4. Import documents from Google Drive

When you upload a document to send for signature, you can pick files straight from Google Drive instead of downloading them first. Connect Drive once, choose the PDF or Word file you need, and continue in SignFree — drafts, sent items, and completed envelopes stay together in your dashboard folders.

Example

Your proposal already lives in Drive under Sales / Q3. In SignFree, click upload → Google Drive, select that file, add recipients, and send. Later, file the signed envelope in your Clients folder so everything for that deal sits in one place.

Use case: Freelancers and teams who keep contracts in Drive skip the download–re-upload loop. Import, send, track, and organize from SignFree without scattering copies across desktop downloads.
